Theme and moodboard

The concept of the collection is the temples of Kyoto area, temples integrated into nature, some even located in national parks and traditional places such as Arasiyama.

What the collections as a whole intends to relate is a walk through this area of Kyoto in which first we are shown a nature in pure estate and little by little, between the nature, temples and everything related to them ( the Zen gardens, the monks, the colours, the Zen philosophy itself…)

Other landmarks in the collection are the Japanese tablets of poems, The Japanese engravings about nature, and the paintings on wood of nature, both birds and trees and different characters such as geishas and samurais.

Sketch y technical study

The figures of the collection are based on the natural movement and the fall of the fabrics used. The dominant silhouettes are the loose ones which surround the figure and do not compress it, and also the dynamic lines that combined with the colours; they summarize the harmony of integrations between the garments that shape each designed look.

The overview of the collection of 27 looks is summarized in the making and development of two final looks, one of woman and one of man, belonging to the initial third (nature) and the final third (temples).
